FEES & PAYMENT

Fees for my counseling services are based on a rate of $125 per 50-minute session. I accept cash or check as well as debit and credit cards. Fees are due in full at the beginning of each session unless we have made different arrangements prior to our meeting.

Cost may be an important factor for you in choosing a counselor, particularly if you are paying out of your own pocket. I encourage you to discuss with me any concerns you may have about your ability to pay. It is important both that you do not cause yourself undue financial stress by paying for counseling, and also that you feel you are receiving value for your investment. I can assure you that I fully understand the huge commitment you are undertaking for yourself or your child and will work beside you in this endeavor.

INSURANCE

If you intend to use your insurance for therapy and coverage is critically important to you, you should confirm coverage of my services with your insurance company, particularly with regards to out of network providers, prior to our first meeting. If you choose to use your insurance, most companies that provide out of network benefits will cover my services. Again, contact your insurance company PRIOR to your first appointment. I will provide you with a monthly invoice to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, including all of the details required for maximum reimbursement without disclosing confidential information.

CANCELLATION POLICY

I ask for 24-hour advance notice of cancellation, as I have reserved your time specifically for you. This gives me the opportunity to offer the open slot to another client.

If we are able to reschedule an appointment within one week, there will be no charge for the cancelled session. Otherwise, the fee for canceled or missed sessions with less than 24 hours notice is the full fee for the session.
